A young Irish Draught Sports Horse stallion by the highly respected and super versatile G1 IDSH stallion Cos Me Is Black, out of a 'black type' Beowulf (Cruising) x Clover Hill mare from an incredibly strong performance dam line that has produced showjumpers to 1.60m and eventers to 4*. Caliban is bred to truly be an Irish Draught Sports Horse!

As well as having plenty of bone Caliban is light on his feet and athletic over a fence with good scope. More importantly, he has an exceptional temperament that you would struggle to find in most geldings. He is brave and steady with a heart of gold and the sweetest most affectionate nature, you would feel comfortable letting him babysit the kids. Absolutely anyone who meets him falls in love with him. An obedient, balanced and responsive ride, he has been incredibly easy and trainable in his early education under saddle, taking everything in his stride. Due to his age he is being produced very slowly and correctly with an aim to start competing towards the end of 2026.

He is available to a very limited number of mares for his first season at £350 on No Foal No Fee terms.
