Eddie is a quality young showjumping and working hunter prospect absolutely bred for the top of sport. A sporty, compact model with 60% blood, very correct with great limbs and an attractive head. On top of all this, a beautiful temperament and proving himself to be extremely trainable as well as talented. He has a heart of gold and is exceptionally brave. Often referred to as the yard Pony Club Pony because of his user-friendly, laid back nature and easy rideablity!

Direct from the world renowned and prolific sport producer Diamant de Semilly, one of the best stallions to ever come out of France. In 2016, he topped the WBFSH Sire Rankings for the second successive year, cementing his position as the best jumping sire in the world. Diamant is a powerful stallion with a strong back, scope, great balance, wonderful canter, suppleness, uncommon ease and super willingness, coupled with a rideability that he passes on to his offspring.

Eddie comes from a proven performance damline combining the blood of the exceptional 1.60m Thoroughbred stallion French Buffet xx and the power of prolific top performance producer Burggraaf. Eddie’s direct damline is littered with 1.60m showjumpers and his dam Uklahoma herself competed to 1.35m internationally and has so far also produced a 3* eventer still in the early stages of his career.

Having concentrated solely on stud work for his first 2 seasons, Eddie is now out competing in 2026 aiming at showjumping and working hunter classes. You can follow his progress on our Risada Stud Facebook page.

Eddie has excellent fertility and seems to specialise in late-season 'last chance' mares!

Eddie's first foals were born in 2025. He produces quality models with great presence, beautiful heads, good limbs and friendly, trainable temperaments.
